I would describe myself as a figurative and naturalistic painter, designer, and multi-media maker. My art is personal and expressive, often having a surrealistic feel that utilizes bold colors and complicated layers and lines to create hyperrealistic detail. I am often inspired by natural patterns as well as a deep fascination with biology, anatomy, and my own mind. A lot of my work revolves around themes of identity, voyeurism, and consciousness. Through my art I hope to gain a deeper understanding of my own identity and emotions, prioritizing the experimental process of making.
I graduated in 2022 from the University of Michigan, Stamps School of Art and Design with a BFA in Visual Art. In 2023 I moved to Seattle where I live with my partner and our two pet frogs.
